Mediterranean Wall Art

Milano Woman

Milano Woman

This vintage bicycle poster would be the perfect wall art addition to a Mediterranean decorating theme in your home. Coupled with rich red fabrics, perhaps in your couch or throw cushions, and soft creams, maybe in a plush floor rug, this Milano woman in her bright red surroundings and sophisticated cream dress would fit in perfectly.

The patterns of the archway and the font of the writing in the poster would also fit other Mediterranean themed items you had picked up too.

Open Plan Lighting

Most new houses are open plan these days and if you have an open plan living area, there is one simple, bright idea which can help you define the space.

Choose striking and stunning pendant lighting for the dining area to separate it from the kitchen a living areas which probably share its space too. The visual focus will then be brought to the dining area and defines it as a different space, breaking up the often large open plan areas.

Share Your Art

Lots of people consider themselves artists because they paint, drawn, write or take photographs which are all considered works of art. However, often the people with the most creative and artistic talent are the people who are the most modest and are unwilling to share their creations with the world.

But can you imagine if Michelangelo had been shy about his talents? The world, and especially the artistic community would be much poorer for not being able to enjoy his stunning masterpieces.

So are you the Michelangelo? Maybe not but you still add value to your artistic talent by sharing it with us. Go on.

Weathered Wall Art

Inspired by the powerful ocean swells in China Cove of Point Lobos California, this painting is an excellent example of Susanne Renee Leasure\'s talent for rendering her appreciation for natural beauty. This work of art is 24 inches high and 30 inches across unframed.

It is the clouds which transport the water from over the seas and lakes and rain it down upon us. It is the moon which controls the waves and the waves which shape the shoreline and all of these natural forces are present in ‘Coastal Cliffs & Ocean Swells’.

We go about our days and our lives and we forget that at the end of the day, we’re really not in control. This wall art painting of the softly coloured clouds moving about their business and the crashing of the waves against the shore is the perfect reminder of our insignificant role.

A Gift to Cherish

‘Girl dancing on liquid gold’This painting sure makes me agree with the artist, Paul Leasure, that this was a moment meant to be framed at that very moment of time, where the girl’s wonder and curiosity mirrors the joy and spontaneity a viewer might feel when looking at the colorful and joyous scene. A fleeting image of our own escapades with the evening tides wash over. I was gifted this spectacular piece by my teenage daughter and that was her most touching present as yet!

Wall Art and Decor

‘Autumn Leaves in River’Any other person could possibly not guide you on what would be the perfect points to look for when you want to choose a wall art that appeals to you and is going to work well with your décor. In any case, I can share with you some categories of evergreen works of art that literally goes with any setup, be it a modern and contemporary style, a country retreat, a tropical flavour or a classic, romantic or vintage elegance. Nature prints like seascapes, landscapes, flowers, animals and even artistic rocks as a theme transcends all ages, styles and is agreeable with everybody too. Such Canvas art could be made more contemporary with addition of wrought iron or other metal wall art or even with mirrors as a group arrangement.
